The Plano Balloon Festival. With approximately 100,000+ people expected to attend the event this mid-term election year, it is an excellent opportunity to capitalize on the current political climate and reach out to discontented Collin County voters.

Given our huge success last year with one 10x10 booth, the CCLP Executive Committee chose to spend $550.00 and rent two adjacent 10x10 booths for all three days of this year's event! All we need now is your financial support to recoup these costs and your participation to make this event a HUGE success again. See below for more information on how you can support the Collin County Libertarian Party and our candidates running for office.

Volunteering

The more people we have at the event he better. A large and diverse presence will ensure passersby are given a favorable impression of our party, which we hope attracts them toward our booth, gives us the opportunity to provide them more information about our party and engage them in conversation. Volunteering opportunities are available on our MeetUp site for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 17th, 18th and 19th of September, respectively. Please do NOT feel obligated to RSVP for a fully day. While we welcome this level of dedication, it is not expected or required. We would be very grateful having 8 volunteers each commit to 2-4 hour shifts each day.

Supplies

If time is not an option for you, we are also in need of supplies and would be most appreciative of any donations you can offer. Our goal is to raise an additional $500.00 to purchase supplies. We expect to realize a 50% profit margin on all items sold, all of which will fund party operations and future outreach events. Our current wishlist includes:
